​Preparations complete, the RBRYC Organising Committee turned up the day before competition to welcome interstate competitors in the International A Class, which commences on Monday. Peter Morris from Queensland, Brian Dill from New South Wales, Denton Roberts and Graeme Howie from West Australia all took to the water today in light westerlies. They will be joined by nine Tasmanian skippers in two days of racing to determine the 2018 National Champion. Good luck to all competitors!

RBRYC IOM skippers scratch racing on the second Montrose Bay course. General consensus was that the course was ideal with a good vantage point from the grassy bank and alignment with the shoreline for both the NNW and sea breeze (SE).
