Displays of sailing that would make a submariner feel at home where on display today. Wind from the north came in and tested top of B rig conditions and then C rig was called for at the luncheon adjournment. Of note was the boat handling skills of Ray Joyce in his downwind sailing ability. Rarely was Ray's Britpop not in perfect control. The race series was again quite competitive even with the conditions. David Jones went to some lengths to get new eyes just so he could win the 1st prize beer by one point from Stu Dawes and a further point to Rod Jackman. Hopefully next week will return to more moderate conditions.
