Todays event at the Risdon Brook Dam was conducted in ideal conditions, summer finally arrived and what appeared to be a sea breese was in attendance all afternoon, the "A" rig being the rig of choise. The guest Race Officer set a short winward and return course which was used all day. Twelve IOM'S and two Marbleheads lined up for the first Race a graded scratch race, the IOM's being divided into two Handicap groups, and the Marbleheads a little further back. All races were keenly contested, eleven skippers winning races, and sailed in excellent spirits, as the RO it was a pleasure to be part of the day, really makes it all worth while. Dennis Jones and Stuart Harris sailed consistantly all afternoon, Dennis finally beating Stuart on a count back with sixty- two points to win the day, new commer Kyle Stewart sailing "old faithful" and showed he will be a contender when his boat arrives finishing third on sixty-four points, with Rod Jackman on seventy-two points fourth.
