A great day on the water with just shy of a dozen boats greeting the starter. Wonderful to see some new faces showing interest in the boats with a couple of boats having recently changed hands as the fleet continues to expand. The handicap series was ably run by Stew Harris with a good combination of triangle and long distance courses making it an interesting tactical sail for all. The series was won today by David Jones (Britpop) by a single point over Ray Joyce (Britpop) with Anthony Castray (Trojan 2) a close third. Sadly John Banks' day ended before it began with a broken side stay and Wayne Behrens burning a rudder servo before hitting the water. Have a good week....
