What started to look like a cancelled day with the rain, ended up being a brilliant sailing day for the six sailors today. Gusty top of A rig conditions throughout much of the day, and some really enjoyable races in the bay, with control area on the floating pontoon.
5 of the 6 skippers got a win - not bad for an 8 race day. Personally, my fist time in the DF95 since January, and it was a really enjoyable outing. Looking forward to the next one. Congrats to Richard Barwick - the trip from the Huon was quite worth it, three wins and taking the day out on 3 net points, on a count back from Wayne Behrens. Mike Hickman took the third podium place, just 3 points away, with Andrew Wardrop and Phil Turnbull just the three points adrift from Andrew.
