Wasn't able to make it myself today, so no real descriptions on the days sailing.
That said, it looks like Lisa Blackwood had a great day out. with a fairly comfortable win for the day on 14 points. Michael Hickman made 2nd place with 19 points, with Stu Dawes taking out the 3rd podium spot on 24 points. On handicap, Michael Hickman and John Hall won the day, each with 2 net points, with Lisa Blackwood rounding out the top 3 with 1 net point. A big thanks to those volunteers who could make it to the cleanup yestarday at MBYC. We managed to pull in all the buoys, recondition all of them and re-set them back in to place. We were hoping to just get them all in and work on them through the week, but the many hands on deck and high pressure hose really made things much easier. Anyne wanting Mussels, we could have almost gone commercial yesterday with the amount of them on the buoy ropes. Thankyou to John Hall, Ray Joyce, Stuart Dawes, Kyle Stewart, John Short, Andrew Wardrop, Rod Marshall for coming out yesterday. This coming Wednesday we have DF95 Handicap at the dam, button press at 11. Next weekend is the DF95 George Fish Memorial State Championship (Sat and Sun). We currently have 10 entries, but it would be fantastic if we could build on that. It is at the dam, and stay tuned for the start time, as it may need to be delayed by an hour for the regular Park Runners. I'm waiting on a response from the organiser in that regard.
