A good days sailing at the dam today with a strong fleet of 14 boats plus two that didn't make the water. A strong B rig breeze from the NW with a bit of west influence provided some challenging racing. Course was 8 to 7 to the gate & then a short beat to the finish. Eight races were completed. Chris Wood had his grandson with him who obviously gave Chris tactical advice enabling Chris to win the wine. Paul Jewell was sailing Kyles V8 whilst his boat has a repaint & scored a well deserved 4th. Wayne Behrens finished with a creditable second & the Quasmanian Peter Germein with his wooden wonder was 3rd.
