A glorious day at Montrose today with superb sailing conditions in a moderate NW breeze.
A box course was set in the bay with the new floating boat barrier( thanks Wayne ) deployed for the first time between the leeward gate & the retaining wall.
A small fleet of 7 enjoyed some close racing, the only negative being the presence of weed - next thing to do is try a weed barrier.
We are certainly enjoying some very agreeable weather for our Montrose Wednesdays.
Good to see Rob Cooney sailing today – almost took out the day today. Bragging rights today though, belong to Chris Wood.
