Mid week sailing report 8th Nov 2017
rWednesday the dam was its usual self with wind no wind and everywhere around the compass.
Wayne Behrens picked the weather the best and won with 18 points . Kim Potter, Peter Sylvester and Don McLoud were next with 14 points. Ron Cooney back after a long absence was next with 13 points Wayne Turner followed with 12 points. Dennis Lees and John Banks shared 11 points . Phil Turnbull 10 points, John Smith 8 points, David Jones, Rod Marshall and Geoff Mathews with 6 points and Dave Murfit on 4 points. Dave is walking further each week and it won’t be long before he is up near the top of the point scoring.
Andrew had his new boat on the water for the first time and looked good until winch problems called a halt for the day. He helped with the racing for the day which was a big help for me.
It was good to see 15 skippers the for the day plus we had 2 DF95 boats on the water as well. Lets hope the roll up continues to grow.
