The members that turned up to sail at the dam today had some very frustrating times as the wind when it came was light and from every direction
13 starters lined up for the first race of the day and we were down to 6 starters for the 6th and final race of the day. Wayne Turner won the day with 16 points followed by John Smith, Rob Cooney and Ray Joyce on 14 pints. John Banks 13 points, Rob Marshall 10 points, David Jones 9 points, Geoff Mathews 8 points, Andrew Wardrop and Kim Potter8 points, Tony Brewer 3 points, Dave Murfit and Ted Laing 0 points. It was good to see Ted Laing and Stuart Harris back at the dam today, but it would be even better to see more of our members sailing. Just a few points for members we still have to do our penalties if you hit a buoy or cause an infringement. We all like to sail at the dam but it seems that the few members get there early to get the rescue boat from the shed and the ramp in the water starters table set up and after the days sailing it’s the same members left to pack everything back up. A helping hand makes it easier for every one. Regards Wednesday Coordinator John Banks
