Mid week sailing Wednesday 1st Nov 2017

Below are the results for today’s racing and a progressive point score for the last three races.
 
To all those members who choose not to sail today you missed out on a fine day but very confusing wind patterns.  Maybe you will join us next week for round 4 of the summer series. 
 
Today we only managed 6 races due to the wind after lunch but once packed up a good steady breeze filled the dam.
 
Dennis Lees  with 0ne win and two seconds won the day with 19 points with Rod Marshall second with 18 points and Dave Murfit third with 17 points.
 
They were followed by Rod Jackman 16 points, Kim Potter 14 Points, Andrew Wardrop 13 points, John Banks 12 points, Phil Turnbull 9 points, and Don Mc loud sailing his DF 95 on 7 points.  
 
David Jones did well in the scratch races but missed out on the series racing with rudder problems, no doubt we will see him next week.
 
Progressive points    
 
After 3 races David Jones 42, Dennis Lees, Andrew Wardrop, and Rod Marshall 40, Rod Jackman 39, Phil Turnbull 33, Ray Joyce 32, John Smith 31, Kim Potter 25, Wayne Turner 24, Groff Matthews 23, Peter Sylvester and Dave Murfit 17, Don Mc Loud 15 and John Banks on 12 points.
 
To all members please be patient I try to set courses to suit all the members sailing some may be short or long but I do my best to please all.
