Very light conditions for most of the day today, with the wind playing with us, coming from most points of the compass - especially early on.
Eight competitors made it along today, and we were initially met by dead calm, and super foggy conditions. Visibility of about 100m. This caused a half an hour delay before we had any sense of wind, and we soon went out to the point to get started. Just five three completed prior to lunch. Stu Dawes and John Hall in the top two at this stage. After lunch, the light wind continued initially, before we finally got some good wind after race 5, with a change to B rigs - which lasted for the rest of the day (may have been a bit lazy to go back to the A rigs). By the end of the 12 races, Stu Dawes was the one who came out on top, on 29 points. Ray Joyce was hot on his heels in second, just one behind on 30, and John Hall rounded out the top 3 on 36 points. This Wednesday sees the IOM Mid Week Handicap at the dam, with a start at 11am as usual. Kyle
