Todays sailing started with a moderate northerly breeze which gradually petered out by the end of sailing.
There was some close racing with every competitor having a podium finish.
There was some weed about which affected some results
Thanks again to Les for the PRO work and keeping us sailors in line
I wish all A Class competitors good sailing for next weekend in the State Championship
On the state champs next week, the guys up the NW checked out Winspears and it was full of weed. they have been fortunate enough to have had a chat to the landowner at Moriarty, who suggested to move to his dam. This is accessibe from the roundabout at the Mersey General Hospital (turn right for those travelling from the south on to Moriarty Rd). Address is 348 Moriarty Rd. It is a wet launch (but some of the more mobile can help you out if needed) and cannot be accessed prior to 0900. There may be some parking restrictions over the weekend, but this will be communicated out to everyone once all details are sorted.
