Sailing Wednesday 25th July 2017

A fleet of 10 IOMs fronted the starter on Wednesday in a top end A rig northerly breeze which chopped & changed in direction throughout the morning. The racing was under the Swansea handicap system & commenced with a scratch seeding race which was won by the idiot sailing 60 ( he never learns) & so was whacked with a 60 second handicap. As the racing progressed it was a change down to B rig & Rays Britpop showed its excellent heavy air boat speed to claim the days honours. Now the photo below is a bit confusing, it shows the winner Ray, second place was Jammy & also Lisa with her new Nitro hull. It was suggested that Lisa was so impressed by Ray's performance that she gave him the Nitro for 1st prize anyway 60 (third ) ended up with the wine so everything ended up sweet, just dont know how we got there.
